Tracy Slovick

Ms. Slovick has studied dance for over 20 years. She was born and lives in the Pittsburgh area. After graduating from Point Park University with a BA in dance, she began teaching dance and choreographing. Point Park University is recognized as one of the best performing arts and dance schools in the country and has recently been rated as #117 in the 2001 edition of Best Colleges-Regional Universities. Tracy has worked as a dance instructor at Laura Lynn School of Dance for over 13 years. While there, she has taught the competition groups for the past 8 years and was responsible for the Tap and Lyrical programs.   Tracy has won best the choreography award for her dance ”Jai Ho” at the On Stage America competetion, and outstanding entertainment award for her dance “Jump Jive”.  She has also received many monitary awards for her dances. In the last several years, she has taught and mentored over 500 students by aiding in the development of their dance skills and providing her students with emotional support.
