The money we raise supports programs in our community that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies. And it funds research to find answers to the problems that threaten our babies.

TEAM KAYDENCE- OUR STORY

Our family team, Team Kaydence, is very proud to support the March of Dimes. We have been raising money for the nonprofit organization for 6 years. Our journey began on March 28th 2005; our baby girl came in to the world feet first at 22 weeks gestation. Kaydence Marie was taken to the little bed in the corner. After being told there would be nothing that could be done for her they brought her over to us. So fragile and so frail, with the tiniest hat on. Kaydence was all wrapped up in a little blanket. She was absolutely beautiful. Kaydence Marie weighed in at 1 lb and measured 10 3/4 inches. She could fit in her daddy’s hand. At 3:05 PM she went to heaven to become a beautiful butterfly. Her lungs weren’t developed enough, and so she wasn’t able to stay here with us. I don’t understand if she was able to live 47 minutes on her own fighting for it, why weren’t the nurses and doctors able to help her live forever. They are questions that will never be answered. They put her in a little crochet dressed, and took pictures for us. We had lost our little girl, and no one had a reason to give us. At 7:30 PM that same night, I was told I could leave, and there I was walking out of the hospital with my whole family but with no baby. While we can never bring our baby girl back, we think the best way to honor her memory and give meaning to her life is to dedicate ourselves to raising money for an organization that fights for babies.

We have since had two miracles. Jaxten, now four, was born prematurely at thirty three weeks. Jaxten weighed four pounds nine ounces and was seventeen inches long. He stayed in the Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit at Magee Women’s Hospital for twelve days. Our second miracle is Nolan. Nolan was born in October of 2011. He was a healthy seven pounds and a full thirty eight weeks. They are our proof that the money we raise for the March of Dimes funds important research and programs that help babies begin healthy lives.

We are very thankful for everyone’s love and support, without your donations to help fund research for medications and education. Our miracles may not be here.

Your gift will support March of Dimes research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives. And it will be used to bring comfort and information to families with a baby in newborn intensive care.

We will be having class this Thursday April 5th from 6-7 PM!!!!

Come out and work off those chocolate bunnies and marshmallow peeps before you eat them!

We had an awesome time on Saturday with our Comp. Groups and The local Girl Scout troops! Hope everyone enjoyed themselves and hope that you come back to join us on a regular schedule!!! Check out our website for class times!

Zumba starts December 5th and will be each Monday from 6-7pm
Class prices are $12/adults or $7/students $45/month for adults or $25/month for students.

Yoga starts December 1st and will be each Thursday from 6-7:15pm
Class prices are $14/class or $50/month

You may pay per class or for the total month.
